Catalina 2007

We had a wonderful time at Catalina Island!!  The week was filled with one activity after another. A fabulous night class was taught on astronomy and discussion of the planetary system.  Other classes included time in the plankton lab, invertebrate lab, and the shark tank. The great part of the labs was that all was touchable and was up close and enjoyable to see. The beach that we stayed on had great places to explore. The children really enjoyed searching the rock shoreline for crabs, snails and other tide pool life.
